Howdy all,

Anyone here been struck or bitten by a snake before? Was out shrooming in victoria .au today when i slipped on a log and landed about 30 centimeters from a tiger snake, it got more of a fright then me and launched towards me as i fell, my foot slipped and then the rest of me fell so i guess my foot first scared it, i rolled outta the way and it struck again, my mate lost it, he thought it bit me and i spent a fun few minutes making sure i was fine, hadnt felt anything but you never know with adrenaline....then i realised i had lost my hat, i walked back to the log and climbed up, there's my hat.....and there's the snake, watched it for a few minutes, it watched me for a few minutes and slides off under the log.....
Hello mortality...

Oh man...thats scary as hell. Tiger snakes are dangerous. I?ve been bitten numorous times, but never by a poisonous snake, and always out of my own stupidity(I likc to catch snakes.)

Heres what happened last time I caught a 5 foot long black racer:
