Re: What is the minimum volume of a room (full of monotubs) needed for air exchange to be 'fresh'?? [Re: P.Menace]

if you need clean air for a room with 20-30 monotubs why not run a extractor fan on a timer to perform the air changes in the room.

I don't know why "they" recommend not to put monotubs directly on the floor. I have mine directly on carpet in a well used room and I constantly walk inches away from the tub. ALso, your question about some aluminum dryer-hose reminds me of what people were just saying. It is not rocket science man. This is how I get a qp per monotub...... mix up 2-3 qts spawn to bulksub. Let it colonize for a week with no fan blowing on it and no light getting to it (in a closed closet i.e.). Then after 7 days, put it in a well used room with plenty of light. You should see pins 7 days from there. Then a few days after that you will open up your tub for the first time since making it to harvest. It helps a lot if you can have a celing fan running on medium in the bedroom. If you don't have a ceiling fan you can put any kind of oscillating fan close by and just don't let it blow DIRECTLY on the tubs. A celing fan works perfect though.
