I didnt care to read much of this post because it should all be moot. If you have not gotten the message by now, you probably aren't going to any time soon. Disregard the distracting argument about pot increasing blah blah blah,, especially if you have no scientific articles citing your claim.
AS A FRIEND: it should be your priority that you support your friends decisions. In your original post you stated that you wouldn't feel comfortable around him because of your past ju-jitsu sparring, and being in close contact with him. This is not a problem because of him or his choice to be gay. It is a problem with you and your choice to discriminate against homosexuals. If you no longer feel comfortable around him, then you do not see him as a friend due to your own issues.
If this is the case you need to let him go so he can be with friends who will support him and his decisions and who allow him to still have intellectual and physical contact without all the uncomfortable homophobic vibes. In my opinion as a straight male, a good friend would not only be happy for his friends realization, but would also feel comfortable hanging out with him and talking about his homosexual lifestyle when it comes up.
he is a human being, it is in your best interest to stop viewing him like hes different and like straight is normal. that is a an unwise philosophy to follow and will only separate you from other human beings, not unite you.

If I judged people's sexual orientation based on the clothes they wore (compared to me), 90% of the people I know would be "gay". I dress like a scrub.

Two issues. One, which is rediculous, that you are making an issue of your friend possibly being gay.. Not the homosexuality itself. And two, this claim, that marijuana increases his estrogen levels... how about everyone do a little reading first...

Neither of you is going to pop a boner during jiu jitsu practice. You say you feel uncomfortable teaching a girl because you get turned on. Would you get turned on wrestling with your sister or mother? No, because it is a non sexual relationship. Just because your friend is gay doesn't mean all of a sudden he is attracted to you. He isn't.
My advice is to be supportive of your friend whether he is gay or not. Girls love gay guys you know, so maybe your friend will help you bag chicks. Especially when they know you are confident and emotionally mature enough to have a gay friend.
Oh and BTW, just because your friend has decided to dress nice doesn't mean he is gay. So he takes some care in his appearance? Once again your friend is an asset, maybe you two should go shopping and he can help you pick out some new outfits.
