Picture of the outdoors

Got any pictures of nature or anything outdoors you'd like to share?
I'd be glad to take a look.

After a long night of hiking down a trail while trippin on a few hits of acid. :imslow:

Last Winter. Only noteworthy because it rarely snows here.

Nice pics Hendo.  The Bitteroot wilderness is something to behold for sure. One of my best friends grew up in Hamilton, MT and he's got all kinds of stories of that area.

on that second utah picture, there is a big white dot on the left side of the picture, covering part of that rocky outcrop. if anyone is photoshop-savy enough to get rid of that, i will happily dole out 5 shrooms for you, as well as my neverending gratitude! i've tried to get rid of it but with no luck, i just managed to make it look worse

thanks in advance if anyone cares to try!

Capitol Reef is a hidden gem of Utah's parks. We spent a crazy night there a few years ago... wandering around the orchards all night with the mule dear. Surreal.

Our camera broke on that trip, so we don't have any pics from there.

This is 13,600 ft in Colorado in the Vail area . . .

This is sunrise over an area me and my buddies deemed "cold as fuck land", really beautiful morning though.

These leaves look awesome, trippy as a mofo to see them all over the forest floor as far as eye can see.

You'll have to excuse the moisture in the corner of the pics, it was pouring out and very humid.

I love this picture, the fall colors are everywhere and they are so beautiful. Notice the judas ear mushrooms on the stick.

This was an awesome find i made while on vacation, I met up with Paul stamets and we did a little bit of hunting, found these.

My back yard

I love this pic, took it in the spring while weilii hunting

Passion flower

This pic is not that clear but the colors on this orb weaver were amazing, there some of my favorite spiders, i see them all the time when hunting in the woods.

I love this one, a good representation of nature, the decomposer and the life giver

Tower of Babylon:lol:

I always thought this one was funny, saw this one while hunting weilii with phishhead, we both got a good laugh out of it.

wow those pictures are incredible. you've got a great diversity of life wherever you are. i feel like here in the rockies i can find breathtaking expanding landscapes and epic mountain scenery, but it's not easy to find such a range of colors and wildlife on the micro-scale. the summer wildflowers are nice though.

thanks , I became a bit of a panorama junky this year :smirk:

my camera isn't that nice, just a Canon Powershot A570IS.  you can do them with any camera, software does all the work.  just take a bunch of pics in a row with about 1/3 frame overlap between adjacent pics and run them through AutoStitch.

no shit.  I said that.  or rather asked it, in a half-joking way btw, hence the .  I also said please, in case you didn't see.

full sized pics take up a lot of page/screen space and they take forever to load for those with slow connections.  I know you want to make sure everyone sees your photography in all its' wondrous glory, but if you'd take the time to look at everyone else's pics you'd see they're using thumbnails as well.  I know I for one don't care to scroll through/load pics of bugs and dogshit full size, every time I open this thread.  it was nothing personal, just trying to keep what could be a cool thread easy to view for everyone.  go ahead and leave them full size if it's that big of a deal to you, I don't really care that much, it was just a suggestion.

sorry to bump the post about something so stupid, I just felt it needed clarification, since weiliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii apparently feels I was out of line for some reason .

right on gotcha420haha, that was my wallpaper all spring too, enjoy

I guess I'll throw a few more pics in so this post isn't a complete waste of space

Heres a panorama I made from pics I took today.  Snow in the desert is a novelty, and this is about as heavy as I've ever seen it.  This is Redrock Canyon.  I hike here a lot and I've posted many pics of this area in the past.

Heres the same area sans snow...

Those are some good contrast pictures, the snow version is nice as it is but when you look at the regular picture it really shows how beautiful the snow is.

accidently forgot to move this before opening it. D:

This trail is about 7-8 miles long, perfectly straight. It's got some pretty cool transitions both on trail and seasonal. It's one of my favorite trails to walk on. Only downside, got corn fields on either side, but can hardly see it throughout most of the trail. Also sometimes branches off into forested areas, as you can see in the first picture
