Lighting question

Ok first i bough a small flo. light, but then after thinking about it i decided that im not gonna need the light afterall, becouse my growing chamber will be left open in the room that has some light allready, so i cut a big hole on the top of my rubermaid container and put transparent plastic on top of it and cealed it with ducktape...i think its aritight well my question is will it have enough lighting like that or do i still need some extra light?

i'm going to be growing myself some mushrooms soon, and was wondering the same question.... so you don't need a lot of light? and i shouldn't go out and buy a flourescent light? also i imagine it varies from strain to strain, so anyone know anything about equador's in specific?
