according to my psychiatrist, sarcasm is hidden anger.

To help with my sarcasm I had to to write down 150 things I hated on a piece of paper... in return you find out that you don't hate that many things. I don't exactly understand how this works?

Honestly, I find myself rather amusing when sarcastic, I don't think I agree with this hidden anger bullshit.

sometimes when someone says something completely ignorant i feel the need to be sarcastic in a harsh kind of way.  call that mean, hidden anger or whatever - but to me it's fun.  maybe that is where i lack compassion.  if people are offended by my sarcasm they need to stop taking the internet so seriously.

Meanness or good clean fun?

Depends upon if it is delivered with a scowl or a smile....

Excessive sarcastic "meanness" can be kind of humorous too, but in a pitiful way....
