lol, if you want her to change and don't love her for who she really is, bipolar included, then she is not for you. Its pretty simple. Dont stay with somebody hoping they will change. Instead, find someone who truly fits with you, there has to be someone out there, i mean there are over 6 billion people, you can probably find one more compatible than this one in there somewhere.
You are NEVER stuck in anything, unless you are physically forced down, but i doubt you are being imprisoned in any way.

Statistics show, that the majority of bipolar women, will cheat during there ups... You can't fault her for the disorder, but unless you can handle the crazy behavior, and infidelity, save yourself anymore pain, and end it... And if she threatens to kill herself because of it... trust me, she won't...

I think, as a psychologist, that I have experienced more suicidal people than yourself.
So, maybe in your limited experience you have found a bipolar people to be manipulative, but as a professional, that is not the case. Research substantiates the fact that many bipolar people do in fact kill themselves - especially while manic. So, think before you respond, half-wit.

As a bipolar indivdiual myself, I know that half the psychologists out there differ on there opinons on almost everything. One diagnoses Adhd, and two years later, another says bipolar. Being that you are what you claim to be, you should no, that when someone says if you leave me, I will kill myself, this is not a cry for help. but a cry for attention.. Im a half-wit huh? Take it from someone who has lived with BPD's, and people with bipolar,(not just had them in my office once a week) that, this is manipulation.. I am not taking validity from the importance or severity of her disorder, only stating that, as you well know, the term bipolar, has been stretched so far, to cover things, that could not be categorized elsewhere. Such as Mild rapid cycling bipolar disorder.. Tell me that is not a stretch.. And over the past ten years, many diagnosis of bipolar, have been reexamined and changed to that of BPD.
