yah, you always want to dry fast, like under a fan, nothing much worse than food poisoning while tripping

I try to avoid heat while dealing with active mushrooms.

"Subs" = Psilocybe subaeruginosa
"Subbs" = Panaeolus subbalteatus (=P. cinctulus)
Two different mushrooms with similar common names.
Subbs are REALLY tiny mushrooms, and although it may not be ideal, they are still edible if dried in a bag within the past 2-3 days and haven't been piled on top of one another. I know from experience. That 90% water isn't much for these little mushrooms.

Well, it has been about 30 minutes now, so IF they are active, and IF you ate enough, you should start feeling the effects any time now.
I ate somewhere between 40-60 dried Panaeolus subbalteatus (confirmed ID) once and just barely felt the effects.

I guessing no. Panaeolus subbalteatus can be mildly active, P. fimicola are even less so.

Yes, P. fimicola are active, although according to my references only slightly so. Are you saying at times they are moderately active? If so, is that personal experience or a reference?

well i have seem some fimicola blue but is more difficult to see because in my experience they have more slight silver reddish stem and make difficult to see it , but in the mycelium is more evident unfortunately i don't have a picture .
