next time you're in atlanta, hit calhoun and dalton, see what those outlets have to offer
Yeah I usually go to the outlets out near Commerce or on the way up to Dahlonega.
And I don't really have the choice of being choosy. When you're 6'6" it's tough to find pants and long-sleeve shirts. Sure, I could shop at the big and tall stores, but all of those clothes are geared toward 30+ year old crowd. Finding shoes is even more retardedly difficult. Last time I went to a shoe store in NYC and asked the guy what they had in size 15 he laughed a little bit. I'll just stick to buying them online, it's always a futile search in stores unless I want basketball shoes... And I don't.
I kinda just have to take whatever I can find that fits, and usually that ends up being at the stupid expensive stores

Gumby i know exactly what you mean! Having to need a size 15 shoe since i was 15 was pretty annoying. I ended up just having to go to footlocker.

I don't know if $6 sneakers vs. $150 sneakers is that great of a comparison. I have a pair of adidas that's almost 10 years old, that I've had to have walked over 1000 mi in, and physically they're in totally fine shape. I have some old Nike's too that are still fine.

Check out Nudie Jeans.
They look great and are very tough. Expensive though.

You ever checked out www.oddball.com ?
They have a pretty decent selection and the guys there are nice. If you're not sure if a shoe will fit you, just call them after you place your order and give them some kind of shoe to compare it to. I tell them that I usually wear a size 15 in vans and 16 in Adidas and they change my order so I get the right sized shoe. I've been ordering from them for about 6 or 7 years.

the $6 pair of Ocean Pacific shoes I bought in a pinch lasted me almost 8 years, the $12 Kangaroos always lasted me around 6 years... I've never had any shoes from Nike that were comfortable in the first month and never had a pair last more than 5 months
I'm also a one pair kinda guy, no need to have 8 pairs to swap off with, I wear them until there's no sole left and buy a new pair
