93 There's lots of things that the government "should" do but are'nt going to. That's why they are the government. To govern, not satisfy or do things for the good of its people. It is far, far more beneficial for them to keep the major drugs illegal for a multitude of purposes. I do'nt see how anyone can think that the government can suddenly change heart and make changes to benefit its people over their own personal greed and sense of power. Not only that but the U.S, plutocracy is a world of puppets and masters. For certain drugs to become legalized, it would entail a mass "change of heart", not only for the law makers, but for big pharma and some other industries. And, as anyone with common sense will tell you, this aint gonna happen so long as there is greed in humanity.
It is a major mistake of the "pro-drug movement" to think that the government, or rather the people who actually matter within it, is merely ignorant of drugs. For while the puppet face men recite speeches, do as they're told, and take the blame and compassion, there are the people who know exactly what they're doing.
Take these drugs like psilocybin mushrooms and ibogaine for example. There's no way that they can directly become a major money maker for the CIA like h or coke. So, for one thing, they know that these substances may help expand the minds of their users. Help make them break free from the matrix, become less controllable members of society. And not only that but, as is well known, ibogaine is a very effective anti-addiction drug. Why would the government, influenced by big pharma, want to legalize this? And what do the addiction therapy programs across the country do? They instill the sense of a microcosmic government, usually through religion, by letting people think they NEED to be controlled. Never mind that these programs are often non-effective. For even if they are effective for someone, 1). There will always be a huge market for addictive pharmaceutical and black market drugs and 2). They now implanted a sense of subservience in the "saved" former addict. 93 93/93

thanks for all the input, but ibogaine is legal in my country (slovenia) and i presume there are some other countries where it's legal too so maybe that countries have like a site or something you could buy it from... it really seems and interesting "drug" to me =D

I met someone who did iboagine once, and i hung out a bit with an ibogaine advocacy group.
It does crazy things to your brain chemistry that don't go away very fast. The guy i knew who took it said it was great, but he felt strange for months afterwards.

It doesn't leave your brain very quickly. I don't know if it changes brain chemistry, or if it is just so profound that it can alter the way you think. I had strange dreams for a long time afterwords. And weird things would trigger sort of flashbacks.

That is a question alot easier asked then answered.
Well first off it tasted horrible. Even after i threw up, i kept getting force fed. It started out with me falling into a trance. The visions and stuff i had are very personal, so i won't get into them. But the drug showed me past experiences, and what i did wrong. Felt like Iboga was the spirit of christmas past. Then as i started coming out of the trance i had open eye visuals. Ended up wondering around shawnee national forest for about 4 hours. My trip sitter had to chase me all around and stuff. I would keep hiding. I thought i was in some sort of crazy movie. It was very intense.
After a while the visuals started to fade and i was left with just very altered thought patterns, and a very speedy feeling. I didn't sleep for 2 days afterwords. I stayed up thinking about how i needed to change my life, and all the mistakes i had made. For a few months after i felt no need to do any drugs except weed. When i did step out and do drugs anyways i did not find them as enjoyable. Also every once in a while i would have a decision to make. And i would have a flashback that in some way would guide me to make the decision.
It was a pretty cool experience and something i would not give up. Of course the extreme nausea, and hallucinating in a pool of my own vomit part was kind of off.

i dont know about ibogaine but its easy to get iboga online,i have a source I'm going to get some from, they only allow you to buy two gram per purchase,i think a proper dose would be a lot more than this but i still think ill wait a bit longer to hear more opinions on it before trying it myself.i wonder if theirs maybe more actives in the iboga bark to apart from ibogaine.

ibogaine reportidly dulls your dopamine receptors.. may be permanent, may not be.. wouldnt fuck with it outside a controlled clinical setting and wouldnt fuck with it unless i had addiction or personality problems i needed to work out.. well ive personality problems but i dont think it has a reputation of fixing those...

One thing is true, ibogaine is not something to abuse. But i'm not sure what you are talking about it dulling your dopamine receptors. From everything i read it acts almost exclusively on serotonin with minor MAO action.
And iboga did some serious overhauling on how i view life.

aa i understand ibogaine operates on alot of systems at once.
i've never heard of dopamine dulling, but i was going to make a post about its strange effect on the glutamate system, but i can't remember enough from what i've been told and don't see the info online.

i have a website to get it but you need a trusted EU or Canadian relay... or whatever country it's legal in.. they have to relay the package to you and good luck not getting it seized by customs somewhere along the way - it costs between $300-500 a gram or something.. heavy loss if it's seized.

Iboga is an elusive psych. I have been searching high and low for a while now. Cant wait until it finds me! Dont they administer the ibogaine treatment in clinics in Mexico too?
