Could I please get some ID help on these?
Habitat: Park, growing off dead tree stump Gills: White, connected to stem. No bruising observed, unless its slight brown. Has a veil remnant on the stem. Stems are long and fibrous.

Please tell me the above pictures are of Honey mushrooms, I took like 3 pounds of these guys. They were growing on grass somewhat attached to a tree stump. Gills are white, smell is very mild, if at all, and no unpleasant smell.
Habitat: In a park under pine trees, by sidewalk Gills: blackish brown, densely packed Has a thick veil remnant which seems to be stretching from the bottom of the mushroom.
No yellowing at the base, smell is not of phenolic, some sort of mild scent.

These guys were growing in a park in SF under a pine or fir tree of some sort. I havent spore printed either of them yet.

Thanks a lot Alan. Should I be wary of consuming honey mushrooms that were growing at a park? I've never tried this species and am looking forward to it.

Tempus, know that some people are sensitive to Honey Mushrooms, so eat a bite or two, wait a day to make sure you don't have adverse reactions to the particular mushroom, then the next day you can eat more. I also noticed that parboiling them helps if you are sensitive to them. This whole eating one or two bites the first day is standard recommendation for any new species you decide to dine on. Make sure you cook the Honey Mushrooms WELL.
Those Agaricus look delicious! I'm pretty certain it is an edible species. Did you notice reddening of the flesh where damaged? Is the smell sweet, anise, or almondy?

No reddening on the agaricus. If I was to choose between the three descriptions of smell you suggested, I would have to pick sweet. I do not know how anise smells like, and I'm pretty sure it does not smell like almonds. A pleasant or sweet smell fits the description best.
Thanks for the extra information on honey mushrooms, I'll be sure to sample it beforehand and cook them well. That information about not eating a bunch of new mushrooms- I was not following that too well; last time with the Amanita Lanei I ate three whole platefuls of them in a day, thankfully without negative consequences.

Yeah, that could have been bad. It's hard not to, but you really should be careful and not eat that much right off hand.
I bet those Agaricus would taste even better than the Armillaria, Honey Mushrooms.
I would saute them up thoroughly, and taste a bite or two if it smells good while cooking (not chemical smelling). If you feel fine the next day, eat some more. They look like edible ones to me, and there aren't any deadly Agaricus. The poisonous ones would just make you sick, but they'll also smell bad while cooking.
