There is lots of great music to trip to. I like a wide range of different sounds. But there is one that stands obove them all, with all its awesome poetry and feeling, which was made for tripping to, and that is Pink Floyd. Anyone else agree?

I couldn't agree more,I'm the only guy in my school that listens to em.The teachers give me more respect because I took the time to find these guys and go against the grain.BUT me and about 8 other guys are gonna have a shroom party in a couple weeks and I think it's time for them to meet on the dark side of the moon.Maxawow you got some good taste.I think Ill chill tonight with a liitle echos and shine on you crazy diamond.I cant say enough about this band,they are my favourite!!!

Yes my friend I agree. My crew listens to alot of shit. from rock to jazz,old school,hip hop,alternative. It's all good. I seem to vibe really well with folks that have a wide variety of music they like. I couldn't listen to just one type of music. That's gotta get boring.And if someone tells me about some type of music I don't know about, I tell em to turn me on to some of it so I can check it out. Pink Floyd is definitely one of my most favorite bands ever. The music and lyrics are a whole kinda vibe in itself. Some of it can get you pumped, some of it can mellow you out, or put you in a sort of meditative relaxed state or make you think. I always dig turnin people on to pink floyd who have never heard em before. They always end up likin em too.

I listen to all types of music, but pink floyd is up there as one of the best bands ever. You can listen to them tripping, on e, stoned, straight, whatever. They are the perfect "drug" music because they did a shitload of them also LOL  I had to analyze the film version of the wall for my art class....i think we were all fucked up that day. damn i love college

Definitely.... I own 20 of their albums. Watch Pulse it is amazing while tripping.------------------

try listening to steve vai. sex & religion is the best. also good is fire garden. steve vai will make you laugh and take you places you may have never been before. another good one for some of the older folks that might not know is todd rundgren, a wizard a true star. try it!

Yeah - Pink Floyd is definately a sweet band to listen to while tripping. Sometimes I gotta change it up though, so I'll throw on Alice and Chains (I love to listen to them when I'm tripping) or Satriani if I'm in that sort of mood. I like him more when I'm tripping off LSD, and Floyd and Chains more when I'm shroomin.Peace out.

I've been tripping for a while now and I have to say that Pink Floyd is my #1 choice for music. It not only their amazing combinations of sound that appeal to the trippers mind but their amazing powers of revelation in their lyrics. If you understand the message theyre sending across this wonderful thing called "enlightenment" will hit you like a ton of bricks. They keep trying to get through to us on the telephone but there just seems to be "nobody home"... lets open our minds people!!

There is no question Pink Floyd is the best music to trip to. The first, and only, time I did acid I listened to The Wall and it has to be absolutely the best album to trip to. Velvet Underground also makes some great tripping music.

Hey mrjayman! How the hell can you go from hip-hop, to Pink Floyd. They are not even within the same realm. In fact, there are no other realms around Floyd, it just sits there, beautiful and solo.Grimace

i would have to agree that pink floyd is very cool. but the coolest thing ever that deals with pink floyd is the PINK FLOYD/WIZARD OF OZ thing. this is crazy especialy if ur stonedok what u need is cd player copy of pink floyds dark side of the moon and a copy of the original wizard of oz on vhs or dvd what you do is take the dark side cd and put it in ur cd player and put in on repeat make sure its on repeat then you play the video
no in the begging there is the mgm lion on the third roar of the mgm lion press play on the cd player and enjoy. a way to tell that u have it right is right when it fades into the producers name the music changes. ENJOY and happy tripping

I've never had mushrooms before, but one time when I hadn't had any weed for a month or so and I went to my best friend's house, had 2 cones and watched The Wall. Some parts were to me so emotional that a tear was brought to my eye. Amazing!!

yeah yeah Pink Floyd's great as if we didn't know it allready. They are so good musically that one can not say they are bad. Yes they are the best to listen to tripping if you haven't heard them EVERY TIME you have ever tripped. Yes they are good, we all know it allready.

Floyd isn't just music... its a world you enter when you put that cd into your player. ;-) I have every cd, including the live albums. Thats all I really listen to when I'm around the house anyways. Good ol' Floydy...

Hey lju1... I absolutley agree with you about Todd Rundgren! I I was listening to A Wizard, A True Star the other day and it is definately an excellent tripping album. Todd Rundgren is a mad genius. :) The first time I heard it I was listening to it on the bus and everybody was staring at me because I kept laughing out loud wondering what the hell I was listening to. Some of it is really fucked up (Dogfight Giggle!) but for the most part it's very funny, clever and, I think, a little bit perverse. And as a musician as well as a lyricist Todd is first-rate.
In other words, pefect. Everyone buy this album now!
Just to keep this on-topic... Pink Floyd rule, (like that hasn't already been said enough) and Wish You Were Here is the best album.
