You shouldnt get sick at all from just pure DXM provided that:
1. You don't combine it with other ANY drugs(especialy alcohol)
2. You don't have too much sugar in your stomach. Sugar + cough syrup= more sugar= puke :\

That's why I puked when I had some powder a couple weeks ago. I drank like three pepsi's before I dosed. Good thing I only had liquids. Wasn't too bad of a puke.
That's the most fucked up I've been. Had some double vision for a while. But I'll do it again sometime else. Minus pepsi.
