Wait a minute.... Tussin DM? Bad idea, DM has guaifenesin in it.

Guaifenesin in high doses= m4x nausea + vomiting. Bad idea.

If you don't have pure DXM, syrup is the way to go.
You just have to make sure you get the right thing, or you could end up puking a lot, bleeding out your orfices(anus, eyes, nose, etc.), or going into a coma.

The right syrup is:
Robotussin Maximum Strength Cough

Notice I did NOT say Cough and Cold.

If you look at the active ingredients on the bottle you want the only ingredient to be Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide(HBr).
Nothing else.

Yes, these details i know. Safeway brand Tussin DM is dex only i think. The only other time i have done this is with safeway brand Tussin, and i think it was DM, but i'm SURE it was Dextromethorphan ONLY.

uhg, i think thats the shit i did. only active ingredient is DXM and its 15 mg. Me and a friend each drank a bottle of that stuff and then smoked 3 bowls. That was two weeks ago and it was my first and only bad trip. It was like paying to get so fucked up that moving around was out of the question.

ok, just got back from co-op. Ended up stealing the dex and buying some pop and licorice.

I hope the karma from having stolen this isnt going to affect my trip. that would suck :frown:

anyway, this bottle is only 100ml, whats that all about?

Its benylin dry cough, and it only lists dex as the active ingredient.


Side note: it was the only kind of cough syrup they had that was dex only! can you believe that? 

Oh, and if someone knows a reason i shouldnt do this, you have 5 mins to tell me...

each 5ml contains 15mg Dex.

so 5ml=1dose, total is 100ml, thats 20 doses.

so 20*15mg=300mg.

according to http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/dxm/dxm_dose.shtml thats a common dose.
