is there a difference when it comes to powdering up the mushrooms and throwing them into either some lemon juice or orange juice?

Yes there is a difference. Lemon juice is far more acidic than orange juice so you'll want to use lemon juice.

well its not me im worried about. i tired the lemon tech the other day and it was okay. im just worried about my chick not wanting to drink it. then i will have to drink hers too.
im going to make two 1.5 shots so i will have 2 grams left over for thanksgiving.

Yeah, don't do it.
It only needs 15-30 minutes, no point in overdoing it, you only risk breaking down the psilocin.

Yeah 15-20 mins while stirring every 5 mins or so. Just tell her to down it like a shot and not to hold her nose... the texture is horrible and if you hold you're nose it will feel like you're drinking vomit.
Honestly it isn't that hard to drink.
I did it before with 2 lemons and 3.5 grams. Drank it in like 3 seconds and didn't cringe or anything. Vodka, for me, is harder to take down.

oh, she was able to down it no problem. i was just curios cause i have 2 grams left which i will be digesting Thursday morning and i wanted to get the most out of this trip.

The way to get the most bang for your buck with mushrooms is the lemon tek, hands down.
If you only have 2 gs and want to trip hard, do the lemon tek.

Grind up the shrooms and eat the powder with captain crunch. The ingredients in the captain crunch make the trip come on much quicker and much more intense than lemon juice. It's awesome. Great. Phenomenal.
-After you eat the shrooms and captain crunch eat some twix for better results.

Your question isn't very clear. Yes, there's going to be a difference in taste because lemon juice and orange juice taste different. That's not what you mean of course.
I don't believe there will be any difference. Ascorbic acid (vitamin c) helps prevent the breakdown of psiloc(yb)in and ascorbic acid is found in both lemon juice and orange juice.
What redrawing said about pH is irrelevant. I don't know why redrawing believes that the pH difference between OJ and lemon juice will make a difference (in what - nobody has specified yet - I am assuming you are talking about maintaining the potency of effects), but there isn't much reason to believe there is a difference.
The only reason I can see for there being any "lemon juice effect" is due to the presence of ascorbic acid. I am skeptical of lemon juice claims because the testimonials obviously come from biased sources and people seem to want to believe that there is some wonderfully simply way to enhance the effects of a trip. Acidity simply does not explain it.
If ascorbic acid has any effect, then this means there should not be a substantial difference between lemon juice and orange juice.

1) Powdering
2) Making a solution.
(tea, lemon, mixed with stomach acids) whatever.
3) taking on an empty stomach.
These are key to maximizing absorption rate which equals higher concentration in the blood stream.
Powdering and empty stomach being the most important.
Lemon does not magically make mushrooms more potent.
All you are looking for is absorption rate and efficiency (no wasted chemical)

I heard this story of a guy named SWIM.
Now when SWIM used to do mushrooms with his monkey, SWIM would have to grind them into a powder, and use an encapsuling board and put them into size 'O' Gel caps for easy dosing.
Now to put this into context, one could then just drink lemon juice to down the caps.

Beege whenever you decided to go live in a mud hut don't forget to invite me.
Usually i grind them up and stir them up in a mix of Orange juice and lemon juice. I couldn't find lemon juice so i just used orange juice alone a few times and its all worked just about the same.
