The new The Faceless album... It's awesome... BUT THEY DON'T LISTEN TO TOOL!?  They've used the same quote from the very end of Lateralus where the guy's talking about aliens and area 51.  It really annoys me for some reason.

What's the album called? I'm unfamiliar with 'The faceless'

Planetary Duality.  The Faceless  They're a death metal band that fuses jazz into the mix.

Yeh they're sweet, I gotta get more of their stuff, only got a few songs.  If you don't like death metal The Faceless vocals will probably annoy you, but you might like the music...  They have singing in some songs as well

Your Aussie right? I like Ephel but those vox get a little verbed at times.

Fan of '5 star prison cell'?

Oh you gotta get along to see em, fantastic live. I actually auditioned for Simian Gibbet, which broke up and turned into 5 star. Unfortunately I was 16 at the time

Yeh dude, I'll PM you next time they play. I did sound for their label on a boat on the docklands last year. Now that was a good night.

You play in a band?

Nice!  Yeh I'm in a punk band called THC, which is veering more towards metal since I've joined, and a sort of joke band called The Party Boys, although we plan to release and ep soon.

From memory you play for some wikid band that does meshuggah and mars volta covers?
