k, so did yu crumble them or dunk them and leave them whole?
if you left them whole then just cover the cake in moist verm and place in the FC
if you crumbled them then covered in casing you just need to wait for the myc to re-knit back together (4-5days) then put it into fruiting conditions and keep the casing layer moist/damp but not wet.
you want it to be moist but still fluffy/air-y so it has the lil humid pockets of air in the casing layer that help pins form.
try not to go over 1/2" thick for the casing layer.
sounds like your getting there.

dunk after your 1st flush if your sub depth is equal/more than 3".
if it looks dry when you put them into fruting just mist them.
your substrate should have enough moisture for the 1st flush, then dunk.
so just fruit'em.

depends on what kind of material your using...
an that wbs has peanuts/juniper berries and raisens. you dont want that kind of wbs.
look for penningtons or wally world/meijers brand
you want wbs that has milo/millet/sunflower seeds. stay away from fruits/nuts/corn of anykind.

Popcorn is a very poor grain choice to use.

WBS is 7 USD for 20 lbs. at your local hardware/feed supply store. It's significantly cheaper, I also can get 55 lbs. of organic rye for 20 USD.

Are you doing PF tek or grains? Basically, the rule of thumb is 1 cc per jar. You can go a little more or a little less depending on how you want to stretch it. Personally, for quart jars of grain, I use 1.5 cc's, because I'll do G2G's on them after they're fully colonized.

I seem to be having a little problem. we saw white mold that looked like cobweb mold on our cakes. We rolled them in peroxide and put them back in the fruiting chamber. a few days went by and nothing has been happening. when we opened it up to take a look you can see two of the cakes are growing mushrooms but the rest still seem to be dormant. I think we may have stunted them with the peroxide. Is there anything we can do to get them back on track?Should we re-dunk them?

I wish that we could have seen the cakes before the H2O2....I would like to exclude the possibility of it being aerial myceluim which lack of FAE can cause.
Good luck,
JD

Once i inoculated i noticed that the syringe tore a hole in the tyvek big enough for contams to enter. i put some alcohol on the opening, soaked a coffee filter and alcohol and tied that on top of the opening. will that be enough to keep out contams? other steps to take?

other then the two cakes that are growing.. we are redunking them for a couple hours (2-3hrs) but we turned the air pump to run constantly as before it was running 1 hour a day. any tips to try after putting them back in the fruiting chamber?

coffee filters are just that, they only filter coffee. no place in mycology at all. https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/12543108

dude, I answered you that already in the Q & A thread. you still havent giving them time to recover yet. if you go dunking them now they will need even more time. be patient and wait.

Yup. Get some micropore tape for these situations.
