initiating pinheads?
    #928080 - 10/03/02 09:19 AM (21 years, 5 months ago)

I already planted the mycelium covered rye berries into the compost about...10 days ago. The mycelium has already covered most of the compost surface and i was wondering the correct lighting cylce or another way to assure many pinheads in a single flush. Thanx for all the help.

Are you planning on birthing this straight into the fruiting chamber once its 100% colonized, or are you planning on putting a casing on it?  ((anyhow  12 hours on/off per day works great for my friend))

I have another question.... Swim cased 4 days ago, and cold shocked yesterday. Mycellium is poking through the surface in various areas so Swim decided to initiate pinning... Was this a mistake? Is it better to wait for total colonizatino of the casing? (The strain is PR)

No..  That was the right thing to do.. Especially because they are PR's..  This strain tends to overlay alot.
