EXIF data

Does anyone know of a simple tool to reliably strip EXIF data from jpeg files?

If a picture can be traced to your camera, it's a security risk.

Shroomery strips exif data from all pics uploaded to the site.

Another easy way to get rid of it is to load your pics into a photo editor like the gimp, and then save it.

yah, same  with growery. i was actually pretty impressed with this feature. the safest way to upload images to the web is to just screenshot the image and save that, then post it if you're ultra paranoid.not all editors get rid of exif data.
