oven bags have been nothing but a hassle to my friend, with no fruits. You'll probably need liquid mycellium to innoculate, though maybe you can innoculate successfully with a colonized cake.

I recommend getting liquid mycellium working, you'll enjoy that. Then to ease the hassle of jars, use larger ones. My friend found some 12 oz jars that are a little bigger than the half-pints (8 oz) but have the same width so he can fit just as many into my cooker. Pretty snugly, too.

the moisture levels are a bit tricky.
1 tip--
before filling the bag with substrate, etc. first fill it with water to check for leaks. discard any that do leak.

Oven bags suck. I think even the ones that don't leak, breathe too much. Buy some filter bags if you wanna go that way, but test your sterile tek with something a little more consistant first, if you havn't that is.
