I'd like to tell a story, but first I'm going to describe the two people involved.
Friend 1: This guy is not so much a friend of mine as someone who is in my group of friends. He's the one who's always got something bad to say, won't ever admit that he's wrong, etc. All the traits you hate.
I used to be good friends with him, then some shit happened, which included but was not limited to him throwing my cat in the pool while he was high, and never apologising. I love that cat.
Friend 2: He's the quiet guy of the group. Never has much to say in group discussion, but he's got one of those sly, subtle senses of humour. I've never really had too strong of a relationship with him, but I usually enjoy his company and he's always good for a laugh. Recently, I've discovered he has depression.
Okay, now onto the story.
Friend 1 had decided he was having a party, and invited our whole group, plus some girls that he and I knew. One of these girls used to be a good friend of mine, but the friendship had somewhat faded. Friend 2 had decided that he was into this girl, and both Friend 1 and I knew about it. Friend 1 encouraged him to go for her, and told him that a good time to give it a shot would be at this party.
So Friend 2 takes a dig, and doesn't get far. The girl doesn't appear overly interested, but is polite about it and hangs around with him for most of the night until he leaves. A short while before he left, I was talking to him about this girl. He was a bit down about not getting far with her, but hadn't given up hope.
Afterwards, after he was gone, Friend 1 and the girl start getting a bit friendly. To cut a long story short, Friend 1 and the girl end up having sex that night.
Myself and another friend found out about this, and I couldn't be more furious.
Friend 1 knows that Friend 2 has depression and was still keen on the girl, but he goes and fucks her anyway. When I asked him what he thought might happen if Friend 2 found out, his response was, "Well he had his chance with her."
I couldn't believe this. I can't imagine how his mind works. This fucker has no concept of empathy and most, if not all, of his actions are made to directly or indirectly benefit himself. This whole situation was just enraging.
Does anyone know anyone similar to this? I'd like to hear about it.
And thanks if you read all that, I just needed to vent.

sounds like a everyday thing really, it's not mean if that girl really wanted him she would have gone for him and not the other guy. I get what your saying but that's life really, you want something go for it if you don't get someone else will. sorry bro.

You know what's upsetting? Being attacked by your cat while you're trying to coax it to come out from underneath your car so you can dry it off. Also I was high as fuck at the time. So yeah, not good.

I think friend #1 is in the right here. He probably knew that he wanted to fuck this chick before the party but was generous enough to give friend 2 a chance before he put his moves on.
