I've done x about 4 times now. I'm still on a mission to grow/find shrooms in this shitty city of mine. I just would like to know from you who have done x and mushrooms, how are these drugs similar? How are they different? Do you have the same "feel good" feeling on shrooms as u do on x? Just some thoughts Thanks alot

You might get a little anxiety for the first hour or so on mushrooms but once the psilocybin has worked it's magic it's a far better feeling than X both mentally and physically.

fuck X. eat the fungus...food of the Gods. honestly, would you rather eat the food of the punked out raver or the food of the God's? 'sides, mushrooms have no negative long term side effects....but uh, x, if used repeatedly, can. sometimes it can make your brain stop producing saratonin altogether...which means you can't be happy without taking mdma. i hate man composed shit. earth and (whatever God you believe in) God does a much better job.

Unless your eating Omegas that contain ketamine or you ingest 2c-b x is nothing like shrooms in any way ... just my experience.

What batch had K in it? I'm pretty close with the omegas, and I can say for sure none, anywhere near where I live, within a few states, have ever had ketamine. A strong dose of MDMA, and the new orange ones are MDA. Can you link me to any lab testing that have shown ketamine? I don't think there's any on www.ecstasydata.org but I'll go check now. Anyways, we all come to a point in life when we can't roll anymore, for various reasons. Shrooms are your little buddies for life. Ask your grandpa or some old hippie that's non-bias.

In reply to:

I dont see why people think that natural is always better and safer. So ok X is can be damaging but used safely it can be just rewarding by this i dont mean takeing 20 evey weekend and going to a rave. But rather take one or two every now and again and going for a walk into nature with a friend. But remember DMT was first a synthetic drug before it was found in nature. So may be some day MDMA may be found in the plant kingdome.

Did you notice the correction added to the Guardian article?
Our headline Ecstasy not dangerous, say scientists, the front page, September 2, was not justified by the report to which it referred. One of the psychologists quoted in our report, Dr Jon Cole, has asked us to make it clear that he has never said that ecstasy was not dangerous and that he did not speak directly to our reporter. The editor of the magazine, the Psychologist, the original source of our report, points out that the psychologists state: "...no one should underestimate the dangers of illegally using controlled drugs. There is the very real possibility that ecstasy use will cause long-term damage to the brain."
There is a preponderance of evidence to suggest that MDMA is a not only a serotonergic neurotoxin, but a domapinergic neurotoxin as well in mice, rats, and non-human primates. The researchers who Cole criticizes in his paper have since repeated many of their studies with doses and modes of administration that more closerly resemble "recreational" doses in humans. The findings have so far been the same. Cole's criticism of researchers being biased by ignoring findings that do not conform to their expectations is in itself flawed. When a result is obtained it is either statistically significant or it is not. If the results were not statistically significant than they SHOULD be ignored as they tell us nothing. This is true wether they conform to the hypothesis or not. I also find it troubling that Cole dismisses results that show axon damage (I think he calls them nerve "fibers") because cell bodies might be able to regenerate axons. This is uncertain. The connections between fibers is just as important as their existance; it is not clear that when (and if) they regenerate, that they will re-establish the same connections.
Human studies are being refined, and show with ever greater certainty the serotonin destroying properties of MDMA. PET scans have shown a global reduction in FDG absorption rates in ecstasy users (Obrocki, J., et.al, 2002); the methodology for a study that confirmed serotonin receptor density reduction in primates (sorry don't know the author's name for this one) was recently validated as well (Reneman, L., et. al, 2002). Studies have also shown reduced cerebrospinal 5-HIAA, as well as a similar reduction in anterograde axonal transport with MDMA as to a known neurotoxin (Callahan, BT, et. al., 2001). This is but a brief sampling of evidence that has been mounting for longer than a decade.
The neurotoxic effects of MDMA may be mediated by external factors such as stress, hyperthermia, etc.; and it is problematic that the media is so quick to say Ecstasy causes brain damage, when it is not yet clear what deficits (if any) anatomic 5-HT depletion causes in terms of behavior, cognition, or psychopathology. Further research (especially longitudinal studies of ecstasy users) will be necessary.
I agree with Cole's criticism of the media, but his criticism of the last decade of research on ecstasy is problematic, and ultimately flawed in its conclusions. There have yet to be any studies to suggest that MDMA is NOT a serotonergic neurotoxin. Normally I would say "innocent until proven guilty," but with so much evidence accrued, Cole and his peers are going to have to get out of their chairs and into the lab if they expect anyone in the neuroscience community to take them seriously.
Mushrooms are more "psychedelic" than MDMA, usually resulting in much more pronounced visual hallucinations or disturbances. The methamphetamine aspect of X always bothered me as well, often leading to panic, increased heartbeat, etc. where as this is less likely to happen (at least as a direct physiological consequence) when you ingest psilocybin. If you are looking for something that has elements of mushrooms but has a similar pharmacology to MDMA, look into mescaline. [not that I reccomend the ingestion of any illegal substance ;-)]

Shrooms are way safer and they offer so much more. There are similarities though. I hope you get to blow your mind on the Flesh of God very soon.

for MDMA!
-------------------- A plethora of music aspirations control my temptations of future revelations beyond "now". The percussion, and the heart beat of my love and devotion. The rhythm goes beyond, prying into the third eye, releasing the creativity held so far inside. The melodicies, through the out of tune pianos and broken classical guitars...there lies a beauty. A beauty as prevelent as the fire inside. To release these energies is pure ecstacy, to deveop these gifts is sacred. The vocality, so pure as can be, shying away from herself, lies within me. For the underlying serenitity, this is what I live for. I plea for harmony, and nothing more. Music equals love. Creation of love leads to the procreativity of the World, and it's spirals and puddles prevailing.
