 i just paid 1.75 for gas!

in my area (here is SW VA) gas does not get as expensive as the rest of the country, it was like around 3.90 bac kin september, but now it is only 1.75, if that is not fucking price rigging i don't know what is,
the goddamn gas company's raise therew fucking price4s untill we start buying less gas, then they drop the price back down to what it was 3 years ago, and eeryone's like omg cheap gas! even tho they were bitching about 1.75 three years ago,
i wish they wopuld hurry up and make anythiung else but gas our main source of fuel, because i am sick of the fucking oil companys raise the price for nothing other than there own greed,
here in VA gas was 75 cent's a gallon in 03, that was the cheapest i can ever remember

its $5 a gallon here for jet fuel. which hasnt gone down much compared to automotive gas. we have to fly our food in on little russian made aircraft with twin turbo pt-6 engines. i beleieve the make is yakovlev. each month we pay a surcharge for fuel to the charter company with our grant money from the arctic research institute, which is running lower with rising fuel costs. since we pay for jet A its always higher. our research depends on the fuel prices to be stable, otherwise we cannot make bigger more longterm purchases within our divisions.

Don't get used to it, people.. It's going back up, probably next summer, and when it does you can expect $200 for a barrel of oil and $5 dollar gas. The real test will be whether or not Americans go back to consuming gas at a breakneck pace and buying Expeditions and Escalades that get 5 miles to the gallon.
For the love of God, act like gas is still 4 bucks for a gallon.

Price rigging? Umm, this isn't how it works at all. There's no gas company "making prices". It's supply and demand. The past couple years the GLOBAL demand was been going up and up from countries like China and India, which in turn keeps bringing the prices up. But since the economies pretty much everywhere in the world have gone to the shitter, demand is WAY down, and now the prices are going down.
It really is amazing how people think that the government or gas companies are making the prices. Seriously, do a little reading and see how it really works.

1.75 for a gallon? Prices here are 1.30 for 1 litre! In euros that is.
1 gallon = 3,78541178 liter
So we'd pay about 5 euros for 1 gallon. 5 euros is about 6.3 dollars at the moment.
