Mmm, thanks doll.

What I enjoy most is that (it seems to me at least) that he is just one of those REAL kind of people.

The people who enjoy living in the present, not cautiously examining what to do next and not one who dwells on the past (any more than one should).

I have to write a paper.. I have to analyze a poet..

When I got the assignment I was thinking yeah sure this'll be easy as pie.
But now that I'm sitting here trying to start it I'm wondering what the hell am I supposed to write?

I could analyze a poem.. but an entire poet?
Any ideas? I'm baffled and quite frustrated.

I really just need direction here. Thanks in advance.

honestly, that assignment sounds pretty foolish.  i can see why you'd have trouble.  poetry isn't meant to be "analyzed" it's meant to be experienced.

its almost like taking a beautiful painting, ignoring it's intrinsic beauty, to write a paper about what wood the frame is, and what kind of paint the artist used. knowwaddamean?

And yes, I can agree with this. My teacher isn't very good at explaining what he wants.. each paper he gets back he says "Maybe I didn't explain myself well enough.." and explains what he wanted.

So we'll see what happens.
