lib caps are not that hard to grow on rice cakes, but they wont fruit,"at liest ive never seen them,"and casing in horse shit doesnt seem to work.i think you would have better luck if you put your spores on hay,and feed it to your horses, thus germinating inside the horse,"thats how it works in nature",and your left with a pile of germinated steamy horse shit. ------------------

One is that you should not use horse manure. Very few psilocybian mushrooms come up in horse manure. A lot of Panaeolus do but usually Panaeolus which do not get you high .And yes Even in a laboratory setting, cultivators only get a few shrooms to appear. Mj

see chrisjanscen my opinion is that tokinshitload, chrisjanscen (let me be polite) do not say true too you. I am trying too grow Semilanceata, and rice cakes are definitely not good for them. I think BIO mentioned that he uses horse shit, but even if it is not true(though I think it is), you should definitelly try with it.

well the last attempts were:semilanceata on whole millet in jars as a master spawn or a mixture of rice/compost/grasseed for fruiting like j. gartz mentioned it. horsedung can be used but should be aged and leached prior to use BiO.

In the Mushroom Cultuivator by Stamets, it suggests, there is a pic of semilanceata mycelium colonizing wheat straw. Could give that a try too.
