I've heard that's Florida's state motto since I was about 13.
A Google search kinda confirms it: http://www.google.com/search?q=come+on+vacation+leave+on+probation&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a

Living in Detroit is like being in the wild west. I like it! I moved here to gain freedom. Sure, you sacrifice a misguided sense of safety you have in the burbs, but the truth is bad shit happens everywhere and at least here i have one less thing working against me ( cops. )
I've been fucked with one time in the D by police and it was hilarious looking back on it. I had about 10 people in my 4 door sedan, and one of them had his leg hanging out the window. I was driving drunk. We got pulled over and lined up on the curb. The cops saw that we wernt shit heads, and they decided to scare us (me.) I got pulled to the car and they acted like they were going to search my whip, but basically they just waited till a few people got a cab, then hid my keys in my car under the seat.
They let me go back to the car and as i was walking to it they reversed about 200 feet and parked again. So im like wtf? next i get to the car and realize they hadnt given me my keys (or knife) back. So i walked all the way back to the cops and asked them for both. I got my knife back and they told me the keys were on the roof of the car. I started walking back to my car and the cops drove off. When i got there i looked on the roof and, oh shit! no keys.. I sat there panicking for about 5 minutes before i found the keys under the seat. i had a good laugh about it once i got back to my place, and low and behold, have not had the urge to drive drunk since.

Lol dirty pigsters, that's what I'm talking about. I went and hung out with afoaf who was squatting with 8 others in this little shack, living out of dumpsters and what not. Interesting group of people to say the least.

Don't say idiotic things. He isn't in office yet, and he has said nothing about wanting to make it a police state. Bush has come closer to that, because he and McCain are authoritarian cunts. Would you rather have authoritarian cunts in office? Plus, Obama has an energy policy, and a president with a real energy policy is somewhat smary; Obama also has a degree in constitutional law.
I live in Muskegon, and never have problems. I'm rather open too, hell, I've even told teachers I toke up. I'm doing nothing wrong, so fuck em. It's like anywhere else in the US, be careful. Even in Cali they can arrest you for pot.

3 million people in prison in the US... thats more than the population of Jamaca, or Kuwait, or Oman, or Uraguay.
3 million is almost 10% of the population of Canada.
there are 30 states in the USA with populations less than 3 million. among them are: Iowa, Mississippi, Arkansas, and Kansas, respectively.

Michigan sucks!!!
I was pulled over for going through a yellow light, I asked the officer if it turned red while I was under the light. She told me no and told me that I shouldn't have gone anyways and wrote me a ticket for going through a red light. On top of it there is a city near Detroit where cameras monitor the ENTIRE city.
I am scared to drive my car around the city where I live.. I drive a POS and I know that one day I will be pulled over because I'm not driving an Audi, mercadies, porshe, or BMW like my neighbors.
Fuck Michigan

but maybe I'm wrong

My sister's husband was going to set up a northern MI gathering in August but it never worked out, I couldn't have gone anyway his name is b_3jamboree but he doesn't post here much. I'm down for next summer though, maybe a UP gathering if people are willing to carpool and drive that far. Or at least somewhere on Lake MI/ Huron would be sweet I love tripping on the beach!

O man I love Hessel it's one of my favorite parts of the UP, it's just something about being on the north shore of Lake Huron. Other than the far western part rules but that's way too far of a drive. Yeah Magikgirl you need to get to the UP you are missing out Gaylord sucks btw. I know some state land in Hessel around a little inland lake we could do it, but on the big lake would rule.
