Why are you afraid?

There is nothing to be afraid of! Every time I want to get to the root of my fear I get to death, loosing money..without a reson. I usually think that I am not afraid of death. Not to mention police and stuff. There is no reason to be afraid. If I go in prison, I'll get out and continue my life.. Anyway, Why are you guys afraid of? If you are afraid of anything? I started thinking that we have a lot of fears that limits us.. SHROOM ON!!

I generally have little to no fear. There are things I do fear on a really deep level, like rape, but I generally feel comfortable living and just doing my thing without worrying about the dangers of being alive. We all get hurt at some point, its usually not as bad as we make it out to be, and its more often than not quite valuablefor the sake of learning.

"The Fear" is one of my fears too. Prison is a big fear of mine. Being wrong about everything I think I know scares me too.

now, my friends, we have come to one of the deepest fears IMO. the fear that everything you have learned and know in this world is false. the only saving grace is that nothing (or everything) is true. if you believe that nothing is real, you have no fear that what you know is not true, and conversely if you believe that everything is real there's nothing that could be untrue.... i hope that makes sense to ppl besides me lol...

I'm afraid of my Shroomery profile getting wiped out again.

people fear what they do not understand...which is why death is a common fear. also in the dark you can not see which means you do know know which means you do know understand. most fear goes back to not understanding.

there has always been something itching at my insides, and just recently i found out what it was. i smoked some weed with a friend, and after he went home, i started wondering around aimlessly in my neighbourhood. I just thought about my life and "discovered" a fear that has been with me for a long time...the fear of not having control of my life. This doesn't mean I'm a control freak, but I just build a wall around me whenever I feel insecure in certain situations.
And here is the interesting part, that night walking in my neighbour hood, (after realizing my fear) I ran into a friend from highschool who was chilling outside a house where a party was happenin'. We had our small talk and he invited me several times to come inside to meet and say hi to everyone. I rejected his offers politely because I was afraid I might look and act stupid infront of everyone, since I was still under the influence of marijuana. Then it hit me for the second time: instead of just letting go of my fear and "going with the flow of my life", I built a barrier around me and told him I really should be getting home. I regretted my decision later. My point is, even if you realize your fears and insecurities, you still have to take that step and overcome them.

Fear of the unknown sucks...I wish I could belt oot Que Sera Sera with meaning, more often...instead it sounds contrived at times when I'm singing it....oops...uh...(laughs nervously) I don't actually sing that song!
-------------------- At this stage of human evolution, the truth about the meaning of life is too unattainably simple for us to comprehend,as contemporary thought is too bogged down with the notion that the answer to the riddle is so elusively complex. - Tonya Harding.

I fear insanity. I fear paranoid schizophrenia. And I also fear being too scared to ever think outside the box. So my fear is irrational. I want to surf the wave without it crashing down on top of me.
