My Employer is ILLEGALLY Stealing Overtime Pay From Me

i show up everyday and clock in eight minutes early(the earliest I can). i also asked, and my supervisor said that i can stop working at the very end of the workday, so after parking equipment and putting away my work utensils i clock out about 7 minutes later than the actual end of the day.
it should be about 15 minutes of overtime everyday, 4 days a week, 1 hour of of overtime each week, 2 hour of overtime on each paycheck.
but it's not...im only getting paid for like 15 minutes of overtime on each paycheck.
the company i work for is extremely anti-union, and currently has a class action lawsuit for this exact same thing.
what can i do?

Bring it up with them. Of course stay cool, dont curse threat and lose it (which may be hard to do). If not, see legal help. Maybe contact the lawyers from the class action.

It might depend on state, but I thought you got overtime for any hours over 8 in a day.
Also, just sounds like the clock is rounding to the nearest 15 min (had that at one job).

Certainly something more useful than complaining to the shroomery.
I don't know if you really can do anything. 15 minutes a shift? I don't see why you expect to get paid because you show up 8 minutes early and leave 7 minutes late.
After you punch in, don't do any work for 8 minutes and don't do any work for the 7 minutes before you punch out. See if your bitch ass employer complains.

i apologize, im a little heated.
i explain in more detail...
i work 4, 10 hour shifts each week and each one has one 30 minute unpaid lunch. start time is 6am and end time is 4:30pm. i clock in everyday at 5:52am, i clock out at 4:37pm, and i only take a 30 minute lunch. so, each day i work 10 hours and 15 minutes or 41 hours a week.

Just clock in at the exact time you are supposed to be there, and clock out at the exact time you are to leave. If they aren't going to pay you for it, don't work the extra couple of minutes.

a lot of payroll systems do infact round off minutes, clock in 2 minutes early and it bumps you up to the hour, clock out 2 minutes late and it bumps you back. if you worked 17 minutes over your shift it'll credit you for 15 of those minutes, it's not uncommon but it is in my opinion unethical apparently the states may view it differently as the practice is still going on

my employer uses a an illegal national database of EVERY single residence and business phone listing in the Continental united states of America. Since the induction of the national "do not call" list, we have repeatedly been asked by thousands of people to kindly be removed from this list. We cannot do so and end up calling these fuckers all the time and have been reported to the BBB on numerous occasions. Keep in mind 99 percent of our clients are commercial business owners, so they don't fuck around....
We think we are about to loose our jobs in the near future. Also, for those being payed minimum wage at our company (which is 6.55 an hour) were only receiving 6.50 an hour until someone called BBB and lo and behold the next pay check reflected the change! On top of all of this, we have to give some company a core sample from our trashy ass storage area outside. We did not turn one in when we were suppose to and now this company wants an additional 12 inches of core sample, so we have to provide 24 inches of this asbestos ridden soil to them (old asbestos roofing materials have been stored here over alot of years, it was removed but the remnants obviously remain) hence why there are alot of us wandering how long our jobs are going to last.

hmmmm...but if it did round to the nearest 15 minute interval like that...why would i still getting paid some overtime? not to mention that the amount of overtime on my paycheck is always like .367 or something...
from the beginning i didn't trust this company due to it's anti-union video and that they actually had a certain bank practically advertise to us during orientation.
overall, not getting paid for those extra minutes i was there...id say it evens it all out due to my multiple long bathrooms breaks throughout the day and the fact that i pretty much accidentally cheated and got a big bonus during overtime.
edit: and i accidentally cheated a bunch of other times and got bonus. lack of training is to blame...

How much are you making, and is it worth all the hassle to get that extra hour paid for every paycheck? Don't show up early, don't work late. Hell I do that at my job and don't expect to get paid for it.
I'm guessing this job has no advancement otherwise you'd be showing up a few minutes early and working a few minutes late just to get ahead.
