went out walking today and on my travels i stumbled across a group of mushrooms that looked very like psilocybe semilanceata to my untrained eye, naturally i picked them. i have taken a spore print and it looks to me like its a light black/dark brown. can anyone ID?

those are P. semilanceata.
you need to let them print longer next time, so you can get a better idea of the color. if you had, it would be easier to see the purple in the print.

Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it.
If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

They're all the real deal. One thing I do not recommend is that one eats too many that have already gone into decaying mode, like the ones from the top row that you mentioned. I once had so many friggin Liberty Caps that I didn't have enough space to dry them at and sort of neglected a batch and they didn't dry out properly. So they started to rot before I got around to drying them properly. I did try them and man, Shrooms never gave me such bad gas before, plus they smelled like bum feet.
