I'm pretty sure these are them, thanks to ID's on another thread. I'm just double checking I went back and grabbed a couple of the right ones before I cook dinner with them.. many of the photo's online have more of a red look to them..
Habitat: Found growing on conifer/broad leaf mulch under douglas fir - in what was years ago a steer and horse pasture. NW Oregon, around 700' elevation.
Gills: Color - pale lavender/grey. attached.
Stem: Length - 2-4" depending on specimen. I already broke off and replanted the mycelium covered stem butts of photographed subjects. stem is about 1inch straight through. color of stem is a white/lavender.
Cap: 3-5 inches across cap. had a little more purple to them when fresh but they are fading to a brown color. feels smooth but slightly sticky. Caps are almost flat and slightly rolled inward (toward gills) on the edges.
Spore print color: In process!
Bruising: Not much, if any them stem became slightly more lavender.
Other information: It doesn't have a unique scent. It smells like you're average mushroom..

from the looks of them i'm going to give a confident yes, but as always, check the print when it finished.
btw: come on, you don't think they smell like mushroomy fruity pebbles cereal?

Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it. If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

Thank you guys for the quick responses! I'll double check the spore print is pinkish when its done before I eat 'em.
HAHAHA when I smelled them earlier for the description, I smelled the larger one. It smells mainly like an average mushroom maybe a little sweet.
then after reading your post I smelled both of them and funny enough "fruity pebbles" is EXACTLY what the small one smells like.

they loose that smell, and/or the fungal smell intensifies, and become less fresh smelling both as they age.
