I would rehydrate only if you have problems. I have seen a 3 year old PF syringe germinate with about 90% success.
Good luck

PM me with any cultivation questions.

I just looked at my profile and realized I had a website at one point in time on geocities, it's not there anymore and I have no idea what I had on it. Anybody remember my website from several years aga? PM if so please.

Well in this case I am using a print. I ,ade up a batch of dishes, half well inooculated with an Ecuador print, half with my own strain on cub. which is two years old. All of the Ecuadors succumbed to contams, mostly aspergilus and brown mold. Mine haven't germinated (3 days) or formed contams.

my first EQ-print is 10 years old (lives in the fridge) and still germinates...you can put the spores in destilled water for a couple of days to rehydrate and then make syringes with it...

Hrmmm. I have a two year old print, kept in a ziplock bad the whole time. It's been on agar for over a week now and no germination, no contams for that matter either. Used to be a really good strain.
