 Dreams with trip face?

Alright now i've been psyched that I'm going to do acid this weekend... but the weird thing is that I'm having dreams about me on acid. one of the dreams was soo pleasant. I took a hit to see how it was then as it was coming up I felt it then after about 90 minutes I saw trails. My dad showed up and somehow I instantly sobered up.
Today I had a dream where I woke up and I'm like "what's going on?" (this was still in the dream) and I turn around and all of a sudden BAM! I think I was tripping on shrooms this time. Everything was scary and I ended up feeling like it was a super bad trip.
Why the hell am I dreaming about being on drugs? Is that bad? Can it be a way for me to tell how my trip will go because today I said I was going to try 2-3 my first time and this dream was bad whereas my first dream I took one?

Nah I think you're just exited about doing them. In season I regularly have dreams about finding shrooms, the other night I had a dream I found a datura plant.

I just thought it was a weird feeling. I've been smoking weed for a while and never had a dream where I was high and actually felt high. The feeling of tripping is so nostalgic to me... it's been 2 months haha.

Last night I dreamt that I tried meth...with my dad. Neither part of this makes any sense. It was a horrible dream, and while I was still dreaming I felt terrible about it.
But, to get to your question, I wouldn't worry about it. It's probably just your subconscious exploring various possibilities of what will happen with your trip. They're just ideas floating around in your brain. Ultimately you're in control of your trip. With the right set and setting, which I'm sure you'll have, you'll be fine. Especially if you're already psyched about it. It's hard to have a bad trip when you're really excited about it in a positive way, in my experience anyway...

I've had dreams where i'm cleary way high on something, more like really drunk, but its a very lucid dream kinda overlaps into my waking state.

i dreamed about tripping before trying it the first time as well. i found that what i dreamed was not anything near what tripping is actually like, but what i probably assumed it to be.
it means that youre ready and excited to do it, constantly thinking of it. enjoy some nice tunes, hit up a reefer, and enjoy yourself. have fun!

I've had loads of dreams of eating psychedelics and entering an altered state of mind, but they were never close to what real tripping is like. But the other day I had a dream I found shrooms growing in a cave and I gobbled them up and started tripping balls. It was crazy how realistic the trip was for a dream. Pretty mindblowing.

perhaps the dream where you freaked out is just your apprehensions manifesting.
as long as things are going well and nothing god awful happens, your buds stay cool, then there should be no reason to worry. i would have similar dreams; a friend in the dream would slip a tab or two of cid into a cola or something and i would immediately freak out at the way colors were changing. i found lsd was nothing like the world melting into a fuzzy colorful spiral [half to my dismay]... all i can is relax and dont let it bother you. i dont think its a terrible deal unless you feel real bad vibes.
but apprehension in the face of new challenges is always to be expected.

I had a dream once where I was tripping on some mushrooms. It felt exactly like a trip, extremely vivid and clear too. I very rarely have dreams, maybe because I smoke pot, so it was pretty surprising. Can't really remember a whole lot of it now though, it was almost a year ago.

The only dreams I have had of tripping are of dmt. DMT dreams are the craziest thing, because it is just like it is in real life. You will be in your dream and someone will whip out a dmt pipe and off you go on a full blown dmt trip. I love it. Too bad it doesn't happen that often.

I hardly ever dream either, but when i get them, they're usually extreme such as the one you mentioned.

I had a dream my mom came into my room and found my fruiting terrarium. I was speechless but she didn't say anything and my dream changed to something else lol.
