Did I do the math right?

In a bulk straw tek, you use a 1/10 ratio of substrait.
I have a 40 gal tupp
1 to 10 in a 40 gal tupp would translate to 4 lbs of substrait, or 16 quarts.
So I use 16 quarts of colo'd wheat berries into the tupp?
Xcesive or realistic?
