help me out. first time

hi. i weigh 130 and im 5'5. im going to take shrooms for the first time this weekend and I was wondering how much I should take.. i have smoked weed and I know how it feeld to be "high", but I havent ever tripped before. I am scared cuz I dont know how much to take! I hear people taking about 1/2 8th (3grams) for their first time. Is that good ? please help me out

hey hopesfall ~

welcome to the shroomery. i think a half eigth is an excellent beginners dose. however, a half eigth is 1.75g, since an eigth of an ounce is 3.5 grams. i'm gonna move this to general questions. please watch where you post :cool:

yeah man, shrooms...respect them and they repect you...plus read the tripping faq's
just go to the search bar on the shroomery main page and type in "faq"
then find anything that applies to you. AND DON'T WORRY. that's a good way to give yourself a bad trip. just tell yourself for the first thirty minutes that it's all good and you can't OD. you mind can be easily persuaded. peace bro.

i HIGHLY suggest you read this WHOLE thing...it will take some time, but it is invaluable. instead of trying to re invent the lightbulb...just use others knowledge. it's a good thing to do. :smirk:

Perhaps you should become a little more experienced in the world of weed before shrooming. Its a real intense trip, espicially if you don;t have much experience with drugs.

i took 2.5 grams my first time. it was about right. although i dont think they were very potent. i would recommend 1.5 grams.

do one gram. You're smaller than i was when i first shroomed (weight wise) and one gram gave me the body buzz, the butterflies, giggles and all the good high stuff without giving me the punishingly introspective stage (the guilt stage) and without giving me the occasional paranoia that seems to come with higher dosages.

It's sorta like cooking, if you dump too much into the pot, it's not like you can just pull it back out again, while if you start out small, you can always up the dosage.
