I cant answer the majority of this question but, I can tell you that Ryche suggested I add a thin layer of zoodoo (zoo shit) to my petris as the Pans just love shit! Oh and if you find that elusive Azure strain you let me know right away ummmkay?!

Yup, I use a little manure powder or manure juice in my agar for the pans, and they do like it better. They still stall in sealed jars however.
