1/2 pint jars steam sterilize question

I just steam sterilized 4 jars pf stylie, but i have a question, to make sure i'm on the right track. I covered the jars with thrice-folded foil, but did not tape the holes over (got no tape). When i removed the lid after an 1hr, the foil tops were a little puffed up, meaning the steam worked its way under there. is this bad? does this mean the substrate got cooked and is therefore done for? the foils were still in place, they didnt pop off but the puffed uppedness has me worried.

somewhat paranoid question, but hey...

Should be fine, it was hot enough to kill all contams anyways, so the extra moisture isn't going to hurt anything. keep us posted on your grow :smile:
