cooked meat as substrate????
    #922096 -

this idea popped into my head today in school:
if i get some hamburger meat, and cook it, then let it cool down in a steralized envronment then i used it as a substrate with verm, would it work? because it will be steralized, no red at all, and it does have nurtients in it?

No it would not work. Do you really want to fail? Do you think you're so innovative that you can completely replace substrates and techniques that have been developed over years? I hate to come across like this, but I find it ridiculous that people who are obviously quite uneducated in mycological matters think they can pull some hair brained scheme out of their ass and expect even a minor chance of success.

I'm locking this thread.
