War: 9 billion a month!!!!!

I just read this morning in the news that the war against Iraq will cost around 9 billion dollars a month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does everyone realize how much money that is?
Imagine all the productive shit our government could do with that money. You could probably end poverty in the US in like two months(not even).
And what is that money gonna do instead?
I'll tell you what it is going to do, it is gonna make a bunch more crazy-motherfuckes who want to fly planes into our buildings!!

Whatever, the shit is seriously fucked up.

And, whoever said that the war against Iraq is for re-election, it is in a way. Has anyone noticed the correlation between the elections for representatives coming up and Bush pushing the war? Well if Bush can make the Republicans look like true Americaqns he can get more of his boddies elected. Have you guys noticed he has been accusing the democrats of being "un-patriotic"? He is trying to discredit them in front of the public.

There are allways alterior motives in politics.

What media are you referring to? Don't you live in England? You're not contributing to the expenses of the U.S. government. The tax producers who are forced to contribute to the U.S. government are the only ones with legitimate grievences as to how their looted money should be allocated. Once you start contributing, then you can give us your half-witted opinions.

I live in Canada and get BBC news and CNN so we get other countries "media". But I sense a personal vendetta here cause no ones that big of a deuche for nothing..

Sorry man but i don't ignore injustice and cruelty just cos it happens to be in another country.

No doubt back in the thirties you would've been one of those shit for brains sitting on your ass saying "What does the persecution of jews have to do with us, isn't it in Germany?"

9 billion dollars is a lot of money, of course, but war is expensive. And besides 9 billion per month seems quite reasonable to buy increased national security. Or perhaps youde feel more comfortable with Saddam smuggeling an a-bomb in to NY or Tel Aviv... So tell me Doogie, how do you propose to do the Iraq regime change, with coconuts instead of smart bombs? So, do you know what happens to the money... It goes back in to the economy and gives more people jobs. It's not like it dissapears in to a back hole... As an added benefit we'll probably save the nation 9 billion dollars per month on oil imports when we protect the oil fields. Pax Americana.  :wink:

This outburst gave away the underlying motives in your post. You'de prefer the money go to socialist wealth dedistribution programs, rather than national defence. Well, if it didn't go to nation defence, it should stay in the pockets of the tax payers.

No one is going to become a suicide bomber over deposing Saddam and freeing the people. There will be suicide bombers as long as there is islam, their religion prescribes it against infidels (non-muslims). Iraqi people are so oppressed by the curent regime that they will rejoice with glad hearts when we liberate each town. And Iraq's neighbors will do nothing.

It would be wrong to ignore Iraq's persecution of minorities just like it was wrong when England ignored the suffering of Germany's Jewry during their process of appeasment...

With that said, you're from England and you don't know what you're talking about so shut your pie hole.

Well if you want persecution of minorities we can pretty much go down the list forever as far as the US is concerned. Suharto's genocide in East Timor, the contras, Pinochet, etc etc. All done with the full blessing and backing of the US.

In fact if you want persecution you should check out Saudi Arabia. Oh, and Saddam was persecuting people 20 years ago - why were the US so close to him then that it was known as the "love affair"? Not to mention selling him as many chemical and biological weapons as they could.

So shutting your piehole would be more sensible son.
