The possibility of a PS3 version is out there, but it won't be coming from Valve. Valve has stated that EA is welcome to port it if they so choose, the problem is that PS3 is a pain in the ass to develop anything for, and they would practically have to redo a lot of the programming and such for it to run on the PS3 at full power.
