Bluetech?
    #9185280 - 11/04/08 09:11 PM (15 years, 5 months ago)

Anyone heard the new Bluetech album, Phoenix Rising? I have, and it's pretty rad. Not like Sines and Singularities, pretty different, but still good. It's pretty simple actually. I got to see him play it live too. Plus Pitch Black and I met Rain from Phutureprimitive. I'm so happy.

That's an EP that hasn't even been released yet, right?
UL a copy if you have it so we can get a preview.

It's supposed to be closely followed by his next LP "The Divine Invasion".

I wasn't impressed at all by Sines.  Hopefully it's a better album.  I think Prima Materia is his best.

I'm going to have to disagree - Sines and Singularities was awesome but definitely nowhere near the level of Prima Materia (especially Prophetic Sines; that song is amazing).

I hadn't heard about a "new album" so thanks OP. I'll check it out now.

+5 for reppin' the Bluetech.

I like Bluetech and I guess I'd tend to agree that Prima Materia is a little better than Sines and Singularities.  I had no idea there was something new coming out.

His newest track is out on Soul Vibrations 2.  Called Innerverse.

It's boring.

No word on a new album.

I got to meet Phutureprimitive. Great guy. Talked to him for a few minutes at the show.

Second, I definitely think Sines is his best album. It's really organic and liquid. Love it. Second, got a few pics of the album I am talking about. It's even signed. I will also post a song.

There you have proof.. kinda. I suppose I could've fabbed that up... But I didn't.

Bluetech just put a couple new songs up on his myspace player today.
bluetechMyspazzz

They're mixed in with the old, so be careful.  They're called "A Delicate Mystery New Life" and "My Dear Friend Kronos."  They should have close to 0 plays whereas the rest have like 40,000.

I saw Bluetech with Pitch Black just recently as well. Great show!

I wasn't aware he had a new album out!

Well.... I would, but I have no idea how. Plus, I highly feel that one should purchase an album like this if it is liked. Someone let me know how and I will do it.

Mrspirit, where did you see them, Seattle or was one of the shows in Oregon?

Either way, it was a great show. Paddy is awesome.

I've already provided a link in Middleman's ambient thread.  And anyone can buy the album at Somnia Records, as an album or digital download.

Nice. Evan should be coming out with his follow up album here in the next couple months, as well as a Pitch Black/Bluetech collaborative album. That'll be fucking rad.

Yeah. At least that's what it said on Pitch Blacks myspace. Here, it's on the right side on the blue tour flyer. http://www.pitchblack.co.nz/

Also, Evan moved to Hawaii?! WTF? That's hella lame. But rad at the same time. I hope to go to Hawaii next year.
