I've never heard of anyone doing it, but in theory it could be done, but I don't think you'd be too happy if you lost it ALL to contams. Plus, you'd probably need 25 or more cakes to colonize it. But do it, that would be a bomb diggity do grow log.

actually my friend was thinkin of just pouring liquid mycelium in it.. a few jars of course..and cover it with a shower curtain cut out to fit it..hehe..perhaps roadkills horse poo tek?

wow you plan to sell shrooms? growing a whole pool of them would be several kiligrams of shrooms, enough to make like a thousand people trip.

Sure you could. I bet you could get five dry pounds from a properly prepared "kiddy" pool. Five dry pounds would be over 2 grams per person if you were dosing 1000 people.

lsa i dont plan to sell shrooms...thats rediculous...just seeing as how no one attemped it yet and the fact that i think its possible and it would also make an awesome grow log..masive bulk haha...i think with roadkills horse poo tek you could definatley get a few dried pounds out of it if it doesnt contaminate...and some awesome pictures ...and matts idea is very good ..grain jars to 5 , 5 gallon buckets ..to the kiddie pool...hmmm very tempting
