Re: Pecan shells?

I have several huge pecan trees around my house, and I was thinking the same thing, except running them through a mulcher or chipper.
Tell us if it works.

I've heard of it. Never seen it. Never tried it. The cultivation station sells this stuff and when I asked what for, citizenfish (that is who runs the cultivation station, right?) said it's for woodlovers. Ask him.

PM me with any cultivation questions.

I just looked at my profile and realized I had a website at one point in time on geocities, it's not there anymore and I have no idea what I had on it. Anybody remember my website from several years aga? PM if so please.

Nut shells sound great as they are rich in sugars - trouble is last year I found cocoa shells at 80 litres for five bucks and within four days contact with water they were so nutritious that all mould found a safe haven, a carpet of green all over with no obvious solution to this hazard. So give it a try but do not hold your breath.
