Hey im going to start my first growth tommorow. Im going to follow the MMGG to a T...in your personal experience what are some simple things to change to get greater results. should i use something other then a styrofoam cooler?

Also this being my first time will i get several flushes and avid yields if i don't use a casing? just put them in the terranium it says i will yield several ounces?

Im definatley going to try casing on my next attempt

I recommend following the PF Tek.

My friend has had great success with both:  MMGG and PF TEK..  Which ever one you choose, just make sure you do exactly what it says.  Make sure your smart when it comes to being steril.  Use alot of lysol in your working area.  Make sure you measure everything correctly.  You can do it if you put your mind to it.

Good luck!..

PF Casing Method

actually ive decided to case after the colonazation of the myce. however when i get to the end of this technicque it just says poke holes into it. What do i do then just leave their and don't do anything for humidity or nutrients? and how do i get several fluses out of this simple casing?

ahhh thank you so i just pop the whole cased "mold" out onto some chicken wire on top of some perlite and humidify regulary....thank you now i understand

i read that when you are doing a new flush you should scrape the top layer of whatever your substrate is and add fresh moist verm could i do this with this casing technique?

thanks-

Set the container in the terrarium. If the tupperware container is large enough you may be able to just fruit the casing in the container (with no external humidification). Remember, humidity levels required for a casing are much lower than that of cakes (which require high levels)

If you want a good yield you might try spending a few cakes on spawning dung. More information can be found on spawning dung in the FAQ
