Let us know! I've wondered about this before and use these Gladware thingys to dry my shrooms... a small one without lid (containing shroomies) place inside of a big one (with dessicant on the bottom of it) with its lid on. Works super.

This is how i sterilize my substrates... same tupperare jars and everything. With extra precautions, I get around 100% success. This is great for me since I live in a dorm and a pressure cooker is a bit impractical. The trick to getting this to work is to make sure you run the micro long enough to sterilize the substrate but not too long or the rice will burn.

Hey Moe! I'm happy to say that it works! As I wondered though my local "Bulk-Is-Best" store, I happened upon a slew of these things for a great price. I use them when I have leftover substrate after filling my half-pint jars. Although I case the majority of my cake, I let these "Super-Cakes" do their own thing. They love to show off!
