Hello to all Shroomers,
Here we have todays findings; Six Shrooms total.

Two spore prints are being taken. -One print will be sent to Ralphster44, -The other print goes to Steven Peele of the Florida Mycological Resource Center.
Keep on shroomin, GGreatOne234
Oh and the mushroom on the far left is of particular interest to me. Its Cap closely resembles the cap of Panaeolus campanulatus, But then it is not a campanulatus..
These are such an excellent mushroom to search for, These six mushrooms were found in a small patch of about 1 foot squared, Their Shroomy little heads stick up out of the grass in a shiny shroomy-like manner.
Keep on shroomin, GG

In reply to:
do they bruise?
-Yes, they bruise a light sky blue color at the base of the stems mycelium. About 1 in every 3 mushrooms turns blue at the base of the stems mycelium. This particular collection of them however did not stain blue on any of the six collected. More collection photos to be posted soon.

GG, did you find those in a field? or where? i'd like to check those out myself. i think i found some a long time ago in naples when i wasn't very interested in non-Psilocybe species.

Hello ChuangTzu, A fellow sarasotian
I began finding this mushroom a couple years ago and i had landed a false identification on them as being Panaeolus castaneifolius.
They grow in lawns. Residential lawns for the most part.
Good luck, Post some photos of them if you find.

Hey Snobrdr311,
Yes i have eaten this shroom. They are in fact psychoactive.
Today i found about 9 more specimens and some of them stained blue at the base of stems. They are being spore printed.

I think I find these a lot up here on lawns and what not, are they very fragile. Almost break to the touch?
