I tend to disagree with anyone who doesn't feel the Oven is a viable way to patuerize dung. It works GREAT for me--I got the pictures to proove it. The problem with "boiling" is the leaching of the nutrients. It works fine but, I have found people get much better yields without boiling. As far as loosing moisture during baking goes, Put dung in a big turkey basting pan(aluminum from store $2) and COVER it with aluminum foil(prevents moisture loss) and bake at 180-200 degrees F. for 2 hours. Stop at 1 hour and peel back foil and mix it up. With this method you loose no nutrients. ALL these methods probably work fine, but I have had best results with baking. Dioze1

THis is how you really get things done. Say fuck you to ryche because your tek is no more similar to rippers than any other bulk tek out there. And ripper I think your tek is somewhere else on the net b/c I remember reading it somewhere offical a long time ago. With straw you should cut it up first. Go to walmart and buy some shears those huge fucking scissors and cut the straw in a box. This method beats any other unless you have access to a wood chipper or some other huge chopping machine. And then you pastuerize. You people make straw so complicated. Just pastuerize it and spawn it. It also helps to use a laundry bag for straw not a pillow case because the pillow case is lousy for drainage and the laundry bag is all holes.
