younger now,
The most effective way I have seen a deeply overlayed casing revitalized is to deep scratch. If your not familiar with this method then take a fork and scratch the surface(depending on the amount of casing you have you can scratch deep or shallow) until all of the overlay is gone. You can leave the scratched up casing (that previously contained overlay) on top or remove it. Upon scratching you should be able to smell fresh mycelium from the undergrowth of mycelium. Now place it back in your grow tank and lower the humidity approptiatly.
