lighting..

sup folks...i was wondering if any of yous know if i could use flourescent light for my light source, and where to put the light in relation to the cake ...thanx,peace

yes, put it anywhere. rest the flourescent light on top of your terrarium if all else fails. a light higher in the blue spectrum will do the best job, flourescent aquarium lights usually have a diagram of their spectrum intensity on the box.

aiight thanx, would placing the bulb so it is not directly facing the mushrooms be any safer??or harmfull?

u can use white christmas lights if you want. it doesnt take much.

I use a flourescent, it is a blue spectrum flourescent light. My "botonist" friend said it would work good, does well for his "plants". And he is right, it works great!!

doesn't matter, the only problem would be if the light was too hot and too close to the fruits... although, flourescent lights generally are not a problem.
