Liberty caps and pans!
    #917336 - 09/29/02 07:20 PM (14 years, 5 months ago)

Was searching through lots of clumps of sage grass today hoping to find a few libs...I did. But not too many..They seem small, it took hard looking to find them. I searched through sage grass clumps for around an hour only to find these...And these were found just in one little area. The rest I found nothing but a few subbs growing in dung. Need to get more rain...I don't think it was really cold enough for them anyways.

Bottom left : Liberty caps
Bottom Right : panaeolus Sphinctrinus I think
Top left: pan subbs
Top right: Pan subbs...Im really hoping...They were found in a straw/dung pile.

wow Niggy, nice finds!,

You have Psilocybe semilanceata in the bottom left corner.

To the bottom right, Pan sphinctrinus.

Top left: Pan subbs, with the exception of the one mushroom (farthest on the top left), looks like a Pan camp.

Top right: They appear to be Pan subbies!

Keep shroomin,
GG

yes they are niggs. i know because those are my mushrooms you have there
dont forget those are my patches
im comming up from the city tomorrow to hunt.
i have a few spots i DIDDn't tell you about, heh heh heh
and THATS why shit smells like bubble gum!.
judging by your lib haul, id say you found HOW to find them, you just havent developed the ability to spot the area or see the mushrooms well, theyre fukin small.
dont waste them in a tea, save them till you have more

try the wolfville patch at the dump too, and this time of year is ok for cow dung right on the ground for pans.

I owe finding these to you, and I thank you for it! Good luck on your hunt tomrrow.

I checked like every sage grass clump there was pretty much..And to find these I had to look through the grass very well on my hands and knees. It wasen't cold enough the day it rained is my guess. There were other mushrooms growing in sage grass too, kinda brown tops with white gills. Cool looking, but not active.

Yes they are..Do you mean are subbs? Or are foenisecii ?

id say foenisecci, if they taste smokey
youll find the libs more rubbery to eat.
you DO have subbs tho. be sure to try those other spots i gave you and check the feilds i just e-mailed to you.
its cold enoght tonight. next rain will be golden up till a week after frost.

I'm from Annapolis County, and i was wonderin if you guys have any tips about finding the MM's in this province..i just moved here so i have limited knowledge on this subject. I heard there was Liberty Caps around here, but i dont know the conditions in wich they grow. I found a bunch of amanita muscaria formosa (yellow-orange) in the woods, but im cautious of eating these, reading some of the expierences on erowid. Anyway any help will be greatly appreciated.
