Hey Sak, Yes they are azures. You could make spawn that way, but here's how I did it: 1. colonize a pf cake 2. cut it into 1/2" thick slices and lay down in a tray or something between 2 soaked pieces of corrugated cardboard. 3. When cardboard looks close to colonized, lay soaked alder woodchips on top. 4. When woodchips are colonized, mix everything into a few larger bags of woodchips, let colonize, and put outside. However, if I would have known then what I know now I would have simply avoided all that work (and waiting) and went from agar-grain-woodchips-more woodchips. I took a fruit I got from this year and cloned it on agar so I can make another patch that way. I haven't tried them yet, but I'm getting anxious to . Good luck. DH

Yeah, I did it without cardboard. Just PF cake and woodchips/sawdust. It is hard to fuck up something with this shroom. john

At the last move (adding woodchips to the spawn in the ratio about 6:1) I had to wait about a month. The longest part of whole experiment was after moving mycelium from agar to grain - almost 2 months. Maybe conditions weren't optimal, or grain not tasty enough... john
